Eleven years of blogging
Are you struggling with performance issues in your Spring, Jakarta EE, or Java EE application?
What if there were a tool that could automatically detect what caused performance issues in your JPA and Hibernate data access layer?
Wouldn’t it be awesome to have such a tool to watch your application and prevent performance issues during development, long before they affect production systems?
Well, Hypersistence Optimizer is that tool! And it works with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Jakarta EE, Java EE, Quarkus, Micronaut, or Play Framework.
So, rather than fixing performance issues in your production system on a Saturday night, you are better off using Hypersistence Optimizer to help you prevent those issues so that you can spend your time on the things that you love!
Eleven years later!
Eleven years ago today, I decided to create my blog on WordPress.com, and this is the first article I published.
Every year, on my blog anniversary, I write a report about the achievements that were made possible by having this very blog.
If you are curious about my previous reports, check out the following list:
Page Views
In 11 years, I have managed to write 610 articles, which generated over 23.2 million views from almost 12.5 million visitors.

Social media
Writing is a time-consuming process, and without having a significant amount of readers, it would be difficult to justify the effort of publishing new content on a per-weekly basis. To increase my audience over the past eleven years, I’ve been working on expanding my social media presence using LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Threads.
Since the last year’s anniversary, I have managed to increase my X audience from 70k followers to 81.5k.

While I initially relied on Twitter for most of my branding efforts, since 2020, I pivoted towards LinkedIn since it provides a much better engagement for the type of content that I publish. Since the 10th anniversary, my LinkedIn follower count has grown from 59k to 74k followers.

High-Performance SQL video course
In 2022, I released the first version of my High-Performance SQL video course, and this year, I managed to add the Transactions and Concurrency Control module to it, so it now features more than 7 and a half hours of videos split into 67 lessons.
High-Performance Spring Persistence
Last year, I started working on a new High-Performance Spring Persistence training, which I managed to finish in 2024 and even run several editions of it. The goal of this new training is to show you how to get the best out of Spring Data JPA.
Hypersistence Optimizer
Started in 2019, Hypersistence Optimizer was created to validate your Hibernate mappings, configurations, and data access operations and instruct you about what needs to be changed in order to improve your application performance.
Over the past year, I managed to release six new versions that provide support for Hibernate 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, and 6.6.
Thanks for reading my blog, and stay tuned for more content that I plan on releasing over the course of the next year.

I’ve read your articles and I wanted to say thank you for your dedication.
Keep up the great work!
I’m glad you liked them.
